On a regular basis, we receive numerous requests to find pelvic health professionals in all areas of the world. The pelvic health field has many specialized subsets; and it is important to find specialists who are trained in and understand how to evaluate and treat conditions such as pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, endometriosis, infertility, and so much more.
The types of professionals on these lists include Pelvic Physical Therapists, Physicians, Nurses and more.
My advice to anyone who is seeking help from a pelvic health professional: still do you research and homework about each professional. Make sure the health professional has specific training and experience in the type of condition you have. For example, an OB/GYN who delivers babies daily may not have any experience or training in dealing with complex pelvic pain conditions. Also, someone on a professional list for pelvic pain may have attended a conference, but they don’t treat pelvic pain on a regular basis.
Please share any other resources or lists so we can expand this further. This is a community service to all! This resource will help explain more about Pelvic Physical Therapy
